The Y Swim Lesson Program is a nationally recognized program with a history of success. We are professional, safe, and incorporate character development (honesty, respect, caring, and responsibility) into every swim lesson. While our immediate goal for each level is to teach various swimming skills, our long-term goal is to develop a sense of self-worth, an attitude of service to the community, and to inspire personal values in each child that participates in our program.
During the YMCA Lifeguard Course, participants learn CPR for the Professional Rescuer, basic First Aid, how to use an AED and emergency oxygen in a time of need, how to prevent incidents, and how to recognize and respond to emergencies in the pool and around the deck. The course presents information on the skills lifeguards need in a pool, lake, river, surf, and waterpark environments. LEARN MORE AND REGISTER NOW!
