Summer Camp 2026 begins on May 26 and ends on July 31
*No Camp on Juneteenth or on July 4th
Camp hours are 9am-4pm, with before care from 7-9am and after care from 4-6pm included in the weekly camp fee at no additional cost.
Now accepting kids entering Kindergarten**- 8th grade!
*Children must be 5 years old at the start of their session
Lunch is not included. Each day at camp follows a structured schedule designed to keep kids engaged, active, and having fun.
Campers participate in a variety of activities including indoor and outdoor games, daily swim time (weather permitting), arts and crafts, STEM activities, along with weekly themed days and special activities.
Weekly camp fees are $175 for YMCA members and $215 for non-members, with $40 weekly deposit due as a deposit at registration. The remaining balance is auto-drafted the Thursday before each week of camp.
Campers with special emotional, behavioral, or physical needs are welcome at our summer camp. While our program is designed for group participation and is not staffed or equipped to provide one-on-one assistance, we are happy to welcome children who require individualized support when accompanied by a certified ABA therapist or personal aide. This allows campers to safely enjoy the full camp experience alongside their peers.
Families are asked to contact the Youth Development Director prior to registering to discuss individual needs and ensure the best possible camp experience at nias@ymcaneworleans.org.

Dive into Summer Fun at East Jefferson YMCA!
Summer Camp 2026 runs May 26th through August 6th for Children ages 5-12.
Registration for YMCA members opens February 1st, and opens March 1st for everyone.
Camp hours are 9am-3pm, and before care beginning at 7:30am is included in the weekly camp fee at no additional cost.

Interviews are scheduled for 2/1, 2/3, and 2/5.

The West St. Tammany YMCA offers financial assistance to families who meet eligibility requirements.
Financial assistance packets will be available at the front desk beginning February 1st.
Completed financial assistance packets are due by March 15th.
The application process requires completion of the 3 linked documents as well as all supporting documentation listed in the packet.
